It started with a simple question: what's actually the best food for a dog with a sensitive stomach? I typed it into Google and got back 47 different opinions, half of them from brands trying to sell me something, and the other half from forums where everyone disagreed.
That night I spent three hours reading reviews, comparing ingredients, checking Amazon ratings — and I still wasn't sure. I bought something, Teddy hated it, and we started over.
I realised that pet product research is genuinely hard. There's too much noise, too many sponsored "best of" lists, and almost no one who just cuts to the point. So I built PawPicks to be the site I wished existed — honest comparisons, no brand deals, written by someone who actually has a dog and cares about getting it right.
Every article on PawPicks is written by me. I research the products, read through hundreds of verified customer reviews, check ingredient lists, compare prices across Amazon and Chewy, and give you my honest take. Teddy is a 3-year-old Golden Retriever who lives in Haarlem and has strong opinions about everything — especially food. He's the reason PawPicks exists, and unofficially, the toughest product critic on the team.
